Ray Bradbury Talks In MY Town!!!!

I don't think they realized how many people would show up. I knew we should have come earlier. Me and Best Friend (M) had to stand for the entire talk. It was great, even although I could only make out half of what he said. Damn my hearing! I can hear the person speaking, but only can understand 1 word out of 5, when the speaker is male and speaks at a certain pitch. M. understood almost everything he said and she will tell what it was. Mr. Bradbury only spoke for a little over 30 minutes. Which is what was I expecting, Mr. Bradbury has to be close to 90! The line for autographs. . . he's a hardier then me. Had great fun. Was greatly pleased with the respect and admiration shown to him.

And after, we went to Marie Calander to eat and guess who shown up there to eat as well!!!! Yep, Mr. Bradbury! We didn't bother him.

I had gotten really tired of the spectrum with the Fleur-de-lis. These are selection from my own pictures, taken with phone camera.

I have stayed home today. Last night I was so tired, couldn't wait to leave second job. Feet and lower calf's kept getting weird cramps. I was actually finding hard to walk, they were so distracting. Washed some clothes, (gotta have clean underwear!). and went to bed. Realized that the skin of my tummy was very hot. Got up to check temperature. Started shivering as soon as I left the bed. Yep, had a fever. Was climbing to 100, when I took aspirin. Once again, have the flu. Heated water for hot water bottle (hey MY MOTHER WAS ENGLISH, OKAY!). Called in sick this morning. Now am debating whether I should call in sick to second job. I think I will, since I am now also coughing. Great, just great.

Well at least Goosie is pleased, since I am spending cuddle time with her.
