Fixed the Color of the blog title. . .

But still no luck with the background. Okay, I will admit it, I no longer want to get rid of the rainbow mosaic. It fits the blog name, no? I figured out, (from reading the error messages responses on the blogger blog) that I needed to be in blogger-in-draft to change the color of the text. I have had no luck in randomly finding a blog that is using the new templates with a switched out background, in order to look at their code. I really don't know how to find a blog deliberately. I'm just been using the next blog button.

And since I'm in blogger-in-draft, the posting box has new features! It now has undo and redo buttons, a translate/define button and this; I always wondered how people were doing this, and now I know!  And, a location button on the bottom. I will try it at the end of this post. And there's a button for a line break .   Don't know what's that about. Was it always there? And also, background color for text, new or unnoticed? The rest of the buttons are the same, just a different look.

Cousin Nigel has crossed the social Rubicon, he has joined Face Book! So this means Brother-in-law, Margaret, cousin Sarah, Nigel, Sonja (Nigel's partner) are all on Face Book. I think this is funny since I originally started this blog with the notion that me and my English relatives could blog together and connect up, (before it turned into my personal diary). And now we are doing it on Face Book. Still need Sarah's sister's to get on as well as Aunt Julie. Don't know if they have computers or whether they know how to get on Face Book. Sarah wanted my address so Aunt Julie (her mom) could write me. So, that says she doesn't know how to use the computer particularly. I say particularly, because Sarah has mentioned that her mom and her talk once a week, using web cam. Which I don't know how to do, ha ha!

Yesterday was 80 degrees. Today it's 40 degrees and rainy. I don't want to do anything. I didn't go to the gym, and I just realized that I haven't gone over to Best Friend's to feed her cats (she's in Las Vegas celebrating her 34th birthday). Got to get booking.

I have changed the blog look!

Blogger has come out with new styles, and I was under the impression that I could switch out the background picture to my own picture (the orchid picture that's the background image on my twitter page). And yes, I'm suppose to be able to, and I have been trying for over an hour, but it just turns the background white instead of showing the orchid picture. So, far now, I'm giving up and sticking with the rainbow mosaic, (which is not bad), and moving on to the header color.

*******

That's not working either. I keep getting the error message, bX-9x80od. I have gone to blogger help and a LOT of people are getting this message. Oh well, that's why it's blogger-in-draft, because it's experimental. Eventually it will get fixed.

But back to inserting my own background picture, I'm going to try finding someone else blog that has done this and examine their code.

Well, not doing much

I spend about a 12 hours a week looking for a job on the Internet, then call 5 or six places (to satisfied the unemployment people's requirements) and ask whether they have any opening. To date, none of the apps that I have put in have gotten any results.

What I should be doing is calling every day, which I will start doing Monday. More chances that way.

I am starting to sleep ten hours a night vrs my regular seven and half. Signs of depression. . . or, the fact that I have been on my period for over 30 days now?

What's really scary for me, is that every time I exercised , my period got worse, or now, comes back. My womb feels weird to me, like it's swollen. My sister thinks I have fibroids now. Which wouldn't be strange as both my mother and her had to have their wombs out because of them. The hemorrhaging wouldn't stop. They both were anemic, and I would say at this point I'm not far behind in that respect. I have no idea what's going on with my body.

Joined a face book group called I ALREADY HAVE A PLAN WHEN THE ZOMBIES SHOW UP! Mostly 15 year old's, but some serious (!) people on there. Most of them are clueless, i.e., I will take all the booze in my town and go to a hunting cabin and play my x-box, until I run out, and then come out and rule the earth, type of ideas. The serious people have way better plans.

For the record, I don't believe in zombies, but I do believe in earthquakes, disease, and the possibility of the break down of society, which is when the "zombies" (gun toting, hungry, lawless people) will show up. I read this stuff for clues on how to handle this possibility.

It occurs to me I now have the time to do the zombie blog fiction thingie, . .Hmmm.
