I bought Shophicat (hopefully spelled right) from Petco and a small bag of that kitty crack dry food that goes for $15.00 for a five pound bag, ze Fancy Feast dry cat food. And it's working! Goosie is happily eating twice a day, plus the crunchies. Of course she doesn't even eat half of the can, but it's good to watch her plowing through the wet cat food in a straight line. She eats about 1/3 of the can. No, the rest doesn't go to waste. I just shove the plate out into the hallway and the other cats are on it.
Have yet to see her gain any weight, however. But she's not meowing all the time when I interact with her now. She will actually let me pet her without meowing. Still hoping everything will turn out okay.

My unemployment claim form says continued claim form. I think I'm going to get one more check and then I will be living on the pizza place job. At this point, I will have to stop paying on the credit cards. I don't think I'm getting anything more then a one week extension. I will try for food stamps.
I'm going to buy a big bag of rice and bags of dry beans as a back up food supply.
