Got what was stored by the side of the house, (two VCRs, the fried microwave, still reeking of brunt, charred marks on the back vent(!), boomboxes, etc), and BF's stuff out of her bedroom and off to the dump it went! I still have some stuff, the broken oil filled heater, a little heater, florcensent bulbs, batteries, stuff like that. But I filled my trunk up with the stuff that I took. So two weekends from now, I'm going back.
I didn't have any wait at all at the hazardous waste center, I was the only one in line! Took me less then ten minutes, most of which I was filling out the form. I didn't even have to get out of the car. The man opened my trunk and took everything out, commenting "Lots of units, eh?", while I shrunk into the seat. . .
Then I went and got my oil changed.
I have my laundry in the washer. And I still have to apply for a job. For me, this is a productive day.
The newspaper says that the weather will cool tomorrow. Man, I sure hope so. It's over 100 F today. I'm broiling. Not washing dishes until it's cooler.
