Today I got Fired!

I backed the new work van into another car yesterday. This is the second time I have done this. I don't blame him. At least I still have my pizza delivery job.
I haven't cried yet. The hole is just starting to form. I'm scared. What will I do for money? I filed for unemployment, but the chart I looked at, said I would get less then $50.00 a week. I can't even buy enough food for me and the cats with that! Obviously, no more canned cat food will be bought. Must find another job. SOON! Only have like $170.00 all together.

Another Verizon tech came out, and it turns out that somewhere in the house walls is a short. He was pretty sure it was a jack by the way it sounded to him. Unfortunately, that means he couldn't fix it as it must be in the bedroom that is storing all of BF's crap. No way of getting at the walls.

So, alternative way of getting online. I have a fifty foot phone cord connected to the modem , running down the hall way, going through my bedroom and out my window and plugged into the phone box on the outside wall! Works like a charm.

The Best Friend is not thrilled about the prospect of getting her stuff out so the Verizon people can fix the problem.
